Today, Medjugorje is one of the most visited places in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with many devout Catholics hoping to make a pilgrimage there at least once in their lives. Pilgrimages to Medjugorje can last from a few days to several weeks or even months. However, not everyone can afford such a long trip, so many people choose a shorter visit instead. Since it’s only a few hours from the popular city of Dubrovnik in Croatia, you can get to Medjugorje either by bus or by booking one of the many available private tours.
